Practical help, in the order most people need it

Most organisations come to EDT Maori AI  for one of these three and end up doing all of them, in this order. You can stop after any of them and still be better off than when you started.

01

AI Readiness Audits

We map every system holding whānau information, interview the people who use them, and test what the AI features already switched on in your existing software are doing with your data. You get a plain-language report, a risk register your auditor will accept, and a prioritised list of fixes — the free ones first.

You end up with

Data inventory across every system, including the spreadsheets Risk register scored and prioritised Board presentation we deliver with you 90-day fix plan with named owners
02

AI Strategy & Advisory

We write the AI policy, the data sovereignty position and the vendor questions with you so the words in the document are ones your trustees would use themselves. Then we stay on call for the decisions that arrive between meetings. Available as a project or a monthly retainer where we attend your board hui.

You end up with

Approved AI use policy, one page and a full version Data sovereignty position statement Vendor question set and contract clauses Trustee briefing so the whole table is across it
03

Custom AI Automation

Once the governance is settled, we build the boring things that eat your kaimahi's week: funder reporting, pānui drafting, membership and register admin, hui minute summaries, translation support for bilingual documents. Hosted where you choose and handed over with documentation your own team can maintain.

You end up with

A working tool your kaimahi tested before launch Data staying in the location you approved Written handover and training for two staff Three months of support after go-live

How an engagement runs

Step one

Kōrero, no charge

30 minutes, kanohi ki te kanohi or online. You tell us what is in front of you; we tell you honestly whether you need us.

Step two

Written scope

Fixed price, fixed dates, named deliverables. One page your board can approve without a workshop.

Step three

The work, in the open

Fortnightly updates in writing. No surprises at the end, and nothing delivered that you have not already seen a draft of.

Step four

Handover and check-in

Your team owns the outcome. We come back at 90 days to see what actually stuck, at no extra cost.

Let's have a kōrero

Tell us what decision is sitting in front of you. We answer every enquiry ourselves, usually within two working days.
